I
want to record an album but I'm waiting for a record company to back me. include('http://www.askland.net/global/google-code/google-roadrecords-horizontal.php') ?> Recording is a little more involved than just putting up a microphone. At Road Records recording studio we have years of experience helping artists achieve their desired sound. It's our responsibility as music producers to take what your hearing in your head and make it a reality. Our job is to guide you along the way. Our engineers and producers will make suggestions during the recording process for different approaches or production elements to bring the best out of your recording. Of couse, our clients always have the final say in the direction they take. We're just here to point out options. Our
Experience With Artists Since 1989 we've had hundreds of artists tell us that they're waiting to get picked up by a label. Some of them even did. How many of them went full circle to have a career that lasted more than 2 years or turned an overall profit they could live on? None. We also hear this a lot from artists: "I'll make you rich", "I won't let you down if you back me", "I am the most serious artist you've ever met, I'll do anything". In our experience these are the signs of an artist not going anywhere. It is very inexpensive to record with us. And when you record with us you keep your profits in your pocket instead of giving it to a record label that backed you. Roughly 3% of big label commercial recording artists turn a profit. Why do you always hear stories about famous artists being bankrupt? Part of the reason is that their profits are being used as a subsidy for the remaining 97%. Light
At The End Of The Tunnel It's not necessarily always hard work to be a successful artist. The most important factor in our opinion is consistency. You should be plugging away at it everyday. Refining your craft, your stage show, and getting yourself booked to create your fan base. The people that focus on the long haul are usually the ones that succeed.
