What's a producer? include('http://www.askland.net/global/google-code/google-roadrecords-horizontal.php') ?> What does it take to be a music producer? Nothing. Everyone says they're a record producer. Music producers that are ACTUALLY WORKING are usually not flashy like what you may see on TV. They are people that have vision, know how to get inside an artist's head, and can make it all come together in the final production. Most successful producers also have background in performance and have a good working knowledge of the various technical aspects of a high end professional recording studio. Bottom line: Your producer is responsible for the final product. If it's not a good product, it reflects on the producer.
