We provide custom music for lyricists and songwriters. All music is composed exclusively on a song by song basis. We are not a "music mill".

Generally we do not charge for this service. However there are two stipulations: The production must be recorded at our studio and we take credit and a percentage of publishing for writing the music.

Why Don't You Charge To Write Music?
We're not a music mill. We write great music exclusively for each project. In a sense, we are "backing" you with free music. Our music writing services are not "work for hire". Work For Hire means that someone has been hired in the normal course of their business duties to provide certain services, and the person paying for those services owns whatever services are performed. By not charging we keep our interest in the material. By having an interest in the material it assures that we will always write the best music we can for each and every client. We want it to succeed to!

Why Don't You Collaborate For Free?
We do. Music and melody writing is free of charge. But if we just wrote music for free for people we would be writing around the clock.

If we colloborate with a writer on a song, then who's going to pay for the recording? If the writer uses another recording studio and we split costs, then we've actually PAID to colloborate. And another studio probably won't do as good a job on production as we do.

If we back the work in our recording studio, then we've just given away studio time.

But You'll Make Millions With My Song
We get dozens of inquiries per week asking us to colloborate and back artist material. The replies usually include "you won't be sorry", "you've never met anyone like me", "I'll make you rich" and sometimes "you'll be sorry if you don't".

Here's our answer. If you are a hit songwriter then you no doubt have written hit songs in the past. Simply provide us with the paperwork showing your royalty and publishing income on a previous work completed within the last 5 years. If you can provide this we will most likely back all your production services and production financial backing.
