This album has excellent modern country arrangements with a slight rock feel.

The background harmonies are incredible as is the rich orchestration which includes Hammond B3 organ, fiddle and many double electric guitar parts. The songwriting is also very strong with powerful lyrics set in a pop, sometimes rock, country format

Ride Cowgirl Ride is Allan's debut CD, but he is no newcomer to the country music scene. His mixing talents are second to none and he works constantly running sound for major national acts

Allan's years of experience mixing and analyzing hundreds of different bands definitely shows up in the sophisticated lyric writing and arrangements on this project
